She was well aware of the blood, aware of everything around her. He wasn't saying anything as well and had that 'fuck my life' sigh. When he first exited, Wren steeled herself for the inevitable. Then he spoke and she looked up at him as if she heard him for the first time. Everything in his body screamed he was done with the situation but... he was honest. He wasn't going to hurt her. And once she was told that, she could really pay attention to the situation.
Slowly climbing out with still a reserved demeanor, she nodded. "Okay. Thank you." She needed to be told that. And then she looked up at his face, wincing at the damage. He took hits for her even though they had a rough start. "Would you let me help clean you up? I have a first aid kit upstairs." It was a big risk inviting him up but that single statement told to her without the hype of whatever persona he liked to show others told her more than anything else had: she could trust him not to hurt her. "I completely understand if you don't want to, but I need to offer."
