She had heard his yelling but didn't know if she should turn and look or what. Her eyes remained on Kinn, waiting to see how this would shake out and managed to see all the bruising on his face. He hadn't bothered the tea bag trick at all. Her expression was guilty as charged as she shifted her eyes back to Kinn. He had gotten roughed up and yes, it was because of her but she didn't ask him to do anything!
"He came to my aid, I swear! I didn--"
Kinn's gaze zeroed in on her and he spoke softly. Lethally. "Be. Quiet." Then he looked back to Kim. "She got you jumped, you look like shit. I'm taking care of it because my brother doesn't get one upped by a little girl."
"I'm twenty-five, thank you--"
The Kinn Glare hit her again. "What did I tell you? I don't care how old you are, my brother's face looks like this and it's your fault."
"No, he had the choice. And he took care of himself well enough. I can't do that sort of damage to another person, even if I wanted to." While she didn't like the way she was spoken to, she liked it even less that WiK was being spoken of around him. She glanced back at him. "Sorry."
