Sure it was happening because after all this was the world they live in and dumb shit tends to take aim at them regardless of how much they just wanted to hang out in their underwear be drunk and watch old reruns of Jerry Springer all day. Wade arrived on the scene mostly by happenstance, or maybe because he was bored out of his gourd and needing a little something to get him through his mundane morning of messing with his neighbors and making lewd comments.

Upon taking in the scene and hearing poor Peter up there he couldn't help but bring his hand up covering his mouth in a mock awe " ohhh Shiny.It's so pretty!" he spoke out even managing to bat his eyes behind the red and black mask. welp, to work with him, singing out to Peter " You light up my life~" as he was moving to rectify the hanging spider situation.

As soon as he was close enough he did manage to lean in to Peter. " I had no idea you were into bondage and bdsm, hiding such things tisk shame on you, you kinky little monkey." starting to cut down wires regardless of the shots being plowed into his body, or damage from the light pouring from Peter.. He would heroically rescue his Spider friend then mop the floor with these fools.

Peter manages to bust the last of the wires around his ankles and flips down to the floor, landing in a crouch. The glow in his chest receding into something warmer and somehow more embarrassing as it begins to resonate with the same stupid glow coming from Deadpool and the idiot hasn't even noticed.

Seriously, Peter could cry if he wasn't getting shot at right now. This was his luck. This was the epitome of Parker Luck. His whole life leading to this cartoon moment where his soulmate turned out to be as sane as a Looney Tune with a deathwish to boot. How was that fair? How did that even make sense?

" Yeah, *you* string people up." he said scaling down to ground level, at that time he *still* hadn't noticed that he was glowing bright as a Christmas bulb himself, but he did notice that Peter's glow had changed. " Huh, I guess with your new found kink you could also do part time as a chandelier, the amazing talking chandelier, 100 bucks a pop." his wild train of thought seemed to be interrupted as he turned around to face the people firing guns, sporting a hole in the ass side of his costume. As he took a direct shot to the chest and looked down, it was *then* he noticed his own glow. " Hey look." he said pointing to his chest. " I swallowed a glow worm! We can pull doubles together on that chandelier gig." Alright alright peter over there was getting testy so he did move. " Okay this party is too much for us gents, don't forget to tip your waitress."

"You know what they say about assumptions..." Peter rolled his eyes and dodged a line of bullets, his eyes narrow in on the one that lands on Deadpool's chest, way too close to his heart for Peter's continued comfort. "We can go in 60/40 if you finish this up without getting yourself killed."

Seriously, Peter is five seconds from yeeting the dumb bastard out the poorly disguised window. It might even make Peter feel a little better. He's gotta be in shock still. It's the only explanation he's got for how unwound he's feeling.
